1. Service

Wood ID helps users analyze photos of wood, lumber, furniture, flooring, veneer, plywood, timber, or bark to receive likely wood matches, visual clues, wood properties, uses, care tips, project guidance, and AI chat follow-ups.

Identification results are informational and based on visible photo evidence. Wood ID does not provide professional forestry, safety, legal, certification, sourcing, or valuation advice.

2. Data and Security

We do not create a user account for you.

We store your uploaded/taken images, AI analysis results, and chat messages in order to make them available across sessions and to power the AI chat experience.

You can delete your scans, chats, or all stored data at any time in the app settings. Once deleted, related data is permanently removed from our systems.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to upload, share, or generate any content that is:

• NSFW or sexually explicit
• Violent, abusive, or harassing
• Illegal or promotes illegal activity (including but not limited to copyrighted material you do not own, child exploitation material, or hate speech)

We reserve the right to monitor uploaded content and permanently suspend access for violations of these rules.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Pricing is displayed in USD and may vary by region.

Wood ID offers:

• A weekly subscription at $4.99 with a 3‑day free trial.
• A yearly subscription at $24.99 (no trial).

Subscriptions are auto‑renewable unless canceled at least 24 hours before renewal.

You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime through your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings.

We do not store or have access to your payment details.

5. Consumption Data and Refund Processing

By using Wood ID and making in-app purchases, you consent to our sharing of data regarding your usage and consumption of purchased content with Apple, as part of our efforts to resolve refund requests.

This data may include your subscription status, account tenure, and delivery status of purchased content. This information is shared solely to assist Apple in evaluating refund requests and is handled in accordance with Apple's privacy policies.

6. Intellectual Property

Wood ID and its content (excluding user-uploaded photos and user-generated chats) are owned by the developer. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer the app.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

Wood ID is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error‑free service, nor do we guarantee the accuracy or completeness of any wood identification or related information. Photo-based wood identification can be affected by lighting, finish, stain, paint, engineered material, image quality, and missing end-grain or anatomical details. Always consult a qualified professional for critical sourcing, safety, legal, certification, restoration, structural, or valuation decisions.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Wood ID and the developer are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the app, including decisions or actions you take related to wood purchases, sales, sourcing, restoration, construction, finishing, or project use.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. You may terminate at any time by deleting your data in settings or uninstalling the app.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Poland.
